Tarmac Sport The Tarmac Sport features an SL7 frame and is equipped with the new Shimano 105 mechanical groupset with 12 speeds – a lightweight all-around bike with wireless shifting at a reasonable price. Aerodynamics is everything; it's the motto we've adopted for years and it's also what defines the Tarmac design. For the tubes that create the fastest frame and always compliant with UCI regulations, we drew inspiration from the Venge and our optimized profiles collection 'FreeFoil Shape Library'. We returned to our wind tunnel to create a modular test bike with these profiles. The result is the new Tarmac, the fastest so far. No compromises, pure speed. Always with the goal of developing the best bike for road racing, we used our Rider-First Engineered™ technology to ensure that the new Tarmac was balanced and manageable in every frame size. Thanks to feedback we received from our professional team athletes from SD Workx, Soudal Quick-Step, Total Energies and Bora-hansgrohe and based on their thousands of kilometers on the road, we made changes to the Tarmac. A new balance for ride quality between the front end and the rear, so that even the longest days in the saddle are more comfortable, without compromising the legendary handling and responsiveness of the Tarmac. In the journey to create the Tarmac, we've created a clean and integrated cockpit. Cable routing is prepared for any configuration – including mechanical shifting, a traditional stem, round-diameter handlebars, and so on. At the same time we maintained the aerodynamic characteristics.
