The world's lightest road bike, created for the pure pleasure of riding, the Aethos, now breaks with tradition once again. This Limited Edition will be produced in only 300 units worldwide. Each one with a hand-dipped paint finish, and equipped with the new Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset and Hyperon wheels. The S-Works Aethos LTD with Campagnolo Super Record EPS is the new standard in the ultra-premium road bike category. Creating the lightest industrial production frame in the world – 585 grams – was the result of 49 years of experience, and this is the ideal canvas to celebrate Specialized's foundation. In 1973 it was a love for cycling that inspired Mike Sinyard to sell his Volkswagen and head to Italy. On this journey, Mike fell in love with the quality and beauty of Italian components. His mission became bringing these products to American cyclists, and so Specialized Bicycle Components was born. Pairing the Aethos with a top-tier Italian product is paying tribute to Mike's passion for riding, and to cycling culture in Italy.
