How'd we pull it off? We revisited the traditional shape of road bikes from the past, making subtle refinements to optimize stiffness and balance without compromising weight or durability. Thanks to a new construction method, perfected over decades, we've achieved the lightest frame on the market (585 grams for the S-Works frame in size 56). Aethos isn't just a new bike—it marks the beginning of a new era. An extremely lightweight frame is pointless if it doesn't deliver safe, comfortable handling. For Aethos, we sought the right balance between front and rear stiffness to guarantee superior ride quality. By studying flex and the details of carbon fiber properties, we gained a deep understanding of how forces transmit through the frame. The moment you start pedaling, you'll realize Aethos redefines ride standards. Every component, from the derailleur hanger to the stem spacer, was designed with attention to style, weight, and durability. Plus, the Alpinist carbon seatpost helps reduce weight even further and optimize ride characteristics, delivering the perfect ride in any situation.
