The Aethos Sport features easy-to-maintain Shimano 105 mechanical groupset, hydraulic disc brakes and sturdy DT Swiss R470 wheels. Frame: The Aethos frame was designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, lightness and style – so you can accelerate on steep climbs, descend the most technical descents and stay comfortable even on long Sunday rides. But you might wonder, how did we do it? We re-invented the traditional road bike shape of the past, tweaking it slightly to optimise stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or durability. The Aethos is more than a new bike, it's the beginning of a new generation. An ultralight frame means nothing if the ride characteristics don't inspire confidence. That's why for the Aethos we looked for the perfect mix of front and rear stiffness in relation to ride quality. By studying the flex and every tiny detail of the carbon fibres, we discovered a lot about how forces travel through the frame. It'll only take a few pedal strokes to realise that the Aethos sets a whole new standard in riding. Every detail, from the derailleur hanger to the stem expander, has been designed with style, weight and durability in mind. We've also included the new Alpinist carbon seatpost to shave further weight and optimise ride characteristics – all in pursuit of the perfect ride feel.
