Soloist. It's a name that comes from the depths of our history, but it's immediately familiar to anyone who has cycling racing memories dating back to the early 2000s. It was the first choice for World Tour riders who rode for the CSC team and the Cervélo Test Team back then. Now it's time to introduce it to a new generation. No longer a product for professionals only, the new Soloist has been designed for riders who train every week. It balances weight and aerodynamic performance to deliver a bike that's "perfectly balanced." The Soloist is a bit lighter than the S5, but much more aerodynamic than the R5 and takes on the threaded bottom bracket standard found on the R5-CX. It's a road bike that can accommodate both mechanical and electronic shifters, crush kilometers during training in any weather condition, and has what it takes to jump to the front of the group at the decisive moment. This is the Soloist.
