MOTTO: AERO! The new S5 is 6.3 Watts faster than the current version (data obtained in wind tunnel testing at 30mph). These gains were possible thanks to major improvements made mainly in the front part of the bike, but also thanks to the incredible work of integrating the asymmetric profiles of the seatube and rear wheel. Cervélo has long been the industry leader when it comes to aerodynamics and, testing aside, the new S5 is at least 5 Watts faster than our direct competitors' bikes. INTEGRATED ONE-PIECE HANDLEBAR The new HB19 One-Piece handlebar uses our "Plus-Four" concept, meaning the drop of the handlebar from the top hand position to the drops is 4 cm narrower (for example, 38 cm/42 cm). This approach helps riders maintain a more aerodynamic body position while hands are in the drops and provides stability on the bars when facing descents and sprints. All handlebar sizes comply with UCI regulations, even in light of the most recent regulatory changes. The best part? Despite the increased aerodynamic surface, the new S5 is 124 grams lighter than the previous model. Although the significant increase in fork and headtube dimensions inevitably led to increased weight, we optimized the carbon layup and all hardware to make the system even lighter. NEW RESERVE 57|64 TA The new Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheelset was developed jointly by Reserve and Cervélo, designed and optimized in wind tunnel alongside the new S5 frame. The rear wheel's asymmetry matches the seatube, ensuring smooth airflow that reduces overall drag. The new wheelset is 3 Watts faster than the current 52|63 wheels while delivering the same weight.
