The S5 is now an undisputed benchmark in competitive racing when it comes to speed and aerodynamic efficiency. From Wout van Aert winning the Maglia Verde with the greatest number of victories in modern history to Simon Yates recently claiming the Maglia Rosa, the iconic V-bar and the distinctive fork design of the S5 have become a trademark among professional riders around the world. The new S5 builds on this legacy of speed and design to evolve into something even faster, even more refined and distinctive, shaving weight to become an even more powerful weapon in the hands of the fastest athletes in the world. The new S5 is over 6 Watts faster than the current version, 124 grams lighter while delivering the same handling, responsiveness and stability that riders around the world already love in its predecessor. The most significant changes are at the front end, where the biggest aerodynamic gains come from. The fork blades and head tube have become more pronounced, while the handlebar and stem are now a single integrated piece, redesigned around the V-stem concept but with an even more aerodynamic and faster solution. Cervélo and Reserve developed the new Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheels together — designed and wind tunnel-tested alongside the bike's frame and specifically optimised for use paired with the new S5.
