Description

Despite the addition of significant surface area to improve aerodynamic performance, the new Áspero-5 is 66 grams lighter than the previous model. The new Áspero-5 introduces a dual solution in terms of tyre geometry. When equipped with tyres of equal size (e.g. 42 mm front and rear), the Áspero-5 delivers a stable, confident ride that's ready for the most demanding courses. But to further boost aerodynamics and sharpen handling on less technical terrain, we've optimised the geometry to also support a mixed tyre setup, taking advantage of a 4 mm width difference between tyres (e.g. 40 mm front, 44 mm rear). First introduced on the P-series triathlon bike, we've now brought our industry-leading down tube storage compartment to the new Áspero-5 as well. It's the lightest and most aerodynamically efficient system on the market, letting you store an inner tube, tools and a repair kit inside the frame, out of the wind, in the best possible position for weight balance on the bike.
