As part of our exclusive partnership with KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Mips, we shared our helmet CAD designs and studied young children's still-developing skulls using finite element analysis (FEA). Because children's heads are softer and still growing, this collaboration established the need for lower-density foam and a greater quantity of it. INNOVATION BASED ON DATA: As a result of our collaboration with KTH and Mips, for the Shuffle 2 LED helmet, adding 18% more low-density foam increased the helmet by only 5% in terms of overall size. COMFORT: The Shuffle 2 LED helmet has many technological features, but these only work if the helmet is worn correctly. That's why sizes are specific to each child and why we use the SX retention system to help achieve the right, comfortable fit. The Tri-Fix device ensures easy strap adjustment. LED LIGHT: On the back of this Shuffle 2 helmet there is an LED light for greater visibility to drivers. The taillight integrates seamlessly into the design, so children wear it willingly, and parents can rest assured their son or daughter is always clearly visible.
