The S-Works Torch represents the latest evolution in the most winning footwear in cycling. Using Body Geometry, biomimetics, data science and craftsmanship, we've designed a shoe built with such precision that you'll forget you're wearing it. Leveraging data science, we've refined every detail of the S-Works Torch upper for a better fit and unmatched performance. The BOA® cable is shifted downward and angled, preventing forefoot lift. This evolution eliminates the need for a velcro strap while providing a structure that enhances power and removes unwanted pressure or pinching. Adaptive materials allow natural foot movement where needed for greater comfort, while data-driven zonal reinforcement keeps your foot locked for sharp power output and optimal efficiency. Guided by over 100,000 foot scans from our RETÜL data, we recognized that both a standard and wide sole would best suit the full spectrum of human foot shapes. An internal reinforcement adds rigidity and durability. The result is a 20-gram weight reduction, increased efficiency and immediate power transfer. Again based on RETÜL data, we determined that more space was needed to accommodate the Achilles tendon to increase comfort. We solved this by creating an asymmetrical heel cup that provided more room while maintaining excellent connection. We then verified optimal knee alignment and greater comfort. The S-Works Torch were scientifically engineered to disappear on your feet.
