Thanks to more than 100,000 foot scans extracted from RETÜL data, Specialized goes beyond itself by inserting a wider carbon sole to fit all shapes of the human foot perfectly. An internal I-Beam adds rigidity and resistance, avoiding the need for additional reinforcements. The result is a shoe with a comfortable fit, adjustable yet stiff enough to unleash all your power onto the pedals. Both inside and out, the S-Works Recon is designed following Body Geometry principles. Thanks to nearly two decades of development and data analysis, this shoe has no weak points—only high performance when you pedal. Thanks to the varus thickness, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal button, your foot will stay in the optimal position during your ride while remaining aligned with your knees and hips.
