Thanks to more than 100,000 foot scans extracted from RETÜL data, Specialized pushes itself further by inserting a wider carbon sole to fit all shapes of the human foot perfectly. An internal I-Beam adds rigidity and resistance, avoiding any additional reinforcements. The result is a shoe with a comfortable, adjustable fit that's also stiff enough to transfer all your power to the pedals. Both inside and out, the S-Works Recon is built following Body Geometry principles. Thanks to nearly two decades of development and data analysis, this shoe has no weak points—only high performance when you ride. Thanks to the varus thickness, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal button, your foot will stay in the optimal position during your pedal stroke while staying aligned with your knees and hips.
