The S-Works Prevail 3 is perfect for riders who appreciate the comfort and thermoregulation features offered by superior ventilation. It's the ultimate helmet for various uses that excels in hot conditions, grueling climbs, and mountain stages. With endless research into pushing ventilation limits, we've eliminated the central 'bridges' from the expanded material that block air from the center, effectively creating "channels" that increase ventilation surface area by 24.5% compared to the S-Works Prevail II Vent. The brand new S-Works Prevail 3 has the widest ventilation zone of any helmet we've ever made. When a helmet undergoes impact, its job is to dissipate the energy generated. The conventional approach is that more foam (EPS) means better energy management. We've rewritten the book on cycling helmet design by going beyond foam. Aramid cables run through the helmet and are anchored to carbon fiber side panels. On impact, AirCage* technology functions like a suspension bridge and is designed to distribute localized forces throughout the helmet. Occipital adjustment allows customized fit, and helmet angle can also be managed for eyewear compatibility. The TriFix system now has thinner straps to prevent any irritation. The Mindset retention system with micro-adjust is very lightweight and has an even better grip for on-the-fly adjustment while you ride. MIPS Node Air technology is integrated into the padding with a thin layer designed to dissipate rotational forces. Perforations have been added to further improve comfort and performance.
