Nothing was left out to deliver maximum power transfer to the pedals. The new, ultra-light Powerline™ carbon sole is stiffer and was developed by the Rider-First Engineering team. The Padlock™ heel cup has also been redesigned for a more comfortable fit with the same grip and firmness as the previous version. The aerospace-grade Dyneema™ upper material is non-deformable. We have honored our motto 'every watt is sacred.' For comfort, we retained all the well-known and appreciated Body Geometry features — the longitudinal arch, the Varus Wedge, and metatarsal support — designed on the basis of scientific data, proven to optimize power, increase efficiency, and reduce the risk of sports injuries. The heat-bonded upper delivers a second-skin fit. The new CNC-machined alloy Boa dials feature durable internals, and the millimeter-precise micro-adjustment allows for optimal customization.
