The Recon 3.0 shoes deliver power transfer, lightness and style to cross country enthusiasts or even gravel riders. They're also efficient and comfortable thanks to Body Geometry construction. Pedaling speed matters, but you don't compromise on performance when you're off the bike. The Recon 3.0's carbon fiber sole with a 10.0 stiffness index has a fiberglass toe for a certain amount of flex that we call STRIDE toe-flex for natural walking, while keeping exceptional power transfer quality. Whether you're forced to dismount on a brutal climb on your XC route or you're heading out for a beer after a great ride, the STRIDE toe-flex flexibility is unbeatable. You know that going off-road sometimes means venturing into unknown territory. The Recon 3.0 upper was built in XPEL Mesh that's comfortable, water-repellent, lightweight and quick-drying. SlipNot rubber on the sole delivers traction on any terrain and features a self-cleaning design. Two Boa L6 dials and one Velcro strap on the forefoot guarantee excellent fit: a design created for comfort and performance on twisty singletrack, but also on gravel routes.
