The Recon 3.0's carbon fiber sole with a 10.0 stiffness index features a fiberglass toe for a degree of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex—for natural walking feel while maintaining exceptional power transfer quality. Whether you're forced to dismount on a brutal climb during your XC ride or heading out for a beer after a solid day on the bike, STRIDE toe-flex flexibility is unbeatable. We know that off-road sometimes means venturing into unknown territory. The Recon 3.0 upper is made from XPEL Mesh that's comfortable, water-repellent, lightweight and quick-drying. SlipNot rubber on the sole delivers traction on any terrain and features a self-cleaning design. Two Boa L6 dials and one Velcro strap on the forefoot give you a locked-in fit: a design built for comfort and performance on twisty singletrack and gravel alike.
