The Recon 3.0's carbon fiber sole with 10.0 stiffness index features a fiberglass toe cap for a certain amount of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex—for natural walking—while keeping exceptional power transfer quality intact. Whether you're walking up a gnarly XC climb or grabbing a beer after a solid ride, STRIDE toe-flex flexibility is unbeatable. Off-road riding sometimes means venturing into uncharted territory. The Recon 3.0 upper is built from XPEL Mesh—comfortable, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying. SlipNot rubber on the sole grips any terrain and features a self-cleaning design. Two Boa L6 dials and one Velcro strap on the forefoot lock you in perfectly: a design built for comfort and performance on twisty singletrack and gravel routes alike.
