The Recon 3.0 shoes deliver power transfer, lightweight performance and style to cross country enthusiasts and gravel riders alike. They're also efficient and comfortable thanks to Body Geometry construction standards. Pedaling speed matters, but performance doesn't get sacrificed when you're off the bike. The Recon 3.0's carbon fiber sole with a 10.0 stiffness index features a fiberglass toe for a measured amount of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex—for natural walking feel while maintaining exceptional power transfer quality. Whether you're forced to hike-a-bike on an unrideable climb during your XC run or heading out for a beer after a solid ride, the STRIDE toe-flex flexibility is unbeatable. You know that off-road sometimes means venturing into unknown territory. The Recon 3.0's upper is made from XPEL Mesh that's comfortable, water-repellent, lightweight and quick-drying. SlipNot rubber on the sole delivers traction on any terrain and features a self-cleaning design. Two Boa L6 dials and one Velcro strap across the forefoot ensure an excellent fit: a design built for comfort and performance on twisty singletrack, but just as capable on gravel routes.
