The Recon 3.0's carbon fiber sole with a 10.0 stiffness index features a fiberglass toe for a degree of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex—for natural walking feel while keeping exceptional power transfer quality intact. Whether you're forced to hike-a-bike up an impossible climb on your XC route or grabbing a beer after a solid ride, the STRIDE toe-flex flexibility is unbeatable. Off-road riding sometimes means venturing into unknown territory. The Recon 3.0 upper is built with XPEL Mesh that's comfortable, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying. SlipNot rubber on the sole provides traction on any terrain and features a self-cleaning design. Two Boa L6 dials and one Velcro strap on the forefoot lock in a perfect fit—a design crafted for comfort and performance on twisty singletrack and gravel routes alike.
