Introducing the new Propero 4 helmet — the aerodynamics of the S-Works Evade 3 combined with the extraordinary ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, plus the comfort and reliability of all Specialized helmets, and the 5-star Virginia Tech Institute® rating. Every detail of the Propero 4 was conceived with the equation Aerodynamics + Ventilation + Lightness = Speed in mind. AERODYNAMICS: In developing the Propero 4, aerodynamics was the starting point, and to that end we ran numerous CFD tests and tests in our wind tunnel. With the profile inspired by the S-Works Evade 3, we already gain 4 watts, or 15 seconds over a distance of 40 km. VENTILATION: Drawing inspiration from the S-Works Prevail 3 helmet, we achieved our quality objectives. We incorporated the rear vents of the S-Works Prevail 3, and introduced 2 mm micro-channels that create turbulence in the airflow through the helmet, creating a continuous and refreshing flow of air. ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Beyond aerodynamics and ventilation, the Propero 4 is characterized by meticulous attention to detail. We applied cutting-edge technologies such as MIPS and a retention system designed for comfort. The Propero 4 exceeds expectations.
