The new Loma helmet, designed for cyclists who range from gravel to extreme climbing efforts on the road. The Loma owes its innovative features and performance to our S-Works helmets, and combines them with an elegant aesthetic of a true all-road helmet. Like our S-Works models, the Loma is comfortable and well-ventilated, and is equipped with the MIPS Essential Core system. The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University awarded this helmet a 5-star rating on the Virginia Tech® Helmet Rating scale. The Loma is the perfect helmet for road and gravel cyclists looking for performance features combined with comfort and functionality. Eyewear storage: The helmet design ensures an excellent fit when you place your glasses in the helmet during a long climb. Ventilation: Everything we learned in developing our S-Works helmets is incorporated into the Loma as well, such as 4D Brow Cooling and internal channels to keep your head cool when temperatures rise. MIPS: The Mips Essential Core system is a low-friction layer that allows 10-15mm of movement in all directions. Scientific studies indicate this movement helps reduce rotational forces transmitted to the brain upon impact.
