Here's the new Propero 4 helmet – the aerodynamics of the S-Works Evade 3 combined with the extraordinary ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, plus the comfort and reliability of all Specialized helmets, and the 5-star rating from Virginia Tech Institute®. Every detail of the Propero 4 has been designed with one equation in mind: Aerodynamics + Ventilation + Lightness = Speed. AERODYNAMICS: In developing the Propero 4, aerodynamics was the starting point, and for this reason we performed numerous CFD tests and wind tunnel testing. With the profile inspired by the S-Works Evade 3 we're already gaining 4 watts – that's 15 seconds over a 40km distance. VENTILATION: Drawing inspiration from the S-Works Prevail 3 helmet we've achieved our objectives in terms of quality. We've incorporated the rear vents from the S-Works Prevail 3, and we've introduced 2 mm micro-channels that create turbulence in the airflow through the helmet, so as to create a continuous and refreshing air passage. ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Beyond aerodynamics and ventilation, the Propero 4 is characterized by meticulous attention to detail. We've applied cutting-edge technologies like MIPS and a retention system designed for comfort. The Propero 4 goes beyond expectations.
