Design built for kids Every aspect of the bike has been designed with kids in mind. The progressive geometry created using Retül data features low standover and allows use that grows with them. The relaxed head tube angle and long reach create stability, while the short chainstays provide reactivity and perfect handling. Completing the picture is the RockShox Reba AIR fork with 100mm travel, SRAM NX 11-speed drivetrain, SRAM Level T hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable levers and a telescopic seatpost. The Turbo Levo SL Kids is built to pedal hard, tackle challenging trails and stay out all day. Specialized App/MasterMind Mission Control, the same sophisticated system on our adult E-bikes, enables fine tuning of control on the Levo SL Kids. Two maximum speed settings are available for motor assistance. Parents can choose between 15 km/h (recommended for younger kids or new to E-bikes) and 25 km/h (for older kids or with more experience). Speed settings can only be adjusted by your Specialized Retailer. Long range The 320wh battery from the adult Turbo Levo SL is the same one we find on the Turbo Levo SL Kids. The adult SL provides range up to five hours. With much smaller riders using the Levo SL Kids, the range is even greater. Trust us, there's no risk of running out of juice – at most they might run out of water from their bottle during long hours in the saddle. Before purchasing, in addition to making sure your child is ready to handle the acceleration and weight of an electric bike, check the regulations and any restrictions, including regarding age. Technical details The Specialized SL 1.2 motor is quiet and smooth, and delivers 50Nm of torque, 320 Wh of power. The TCU Mastermind features over-the-air updates, so the Turbo Levo SL Kids will improve over time. With MicroTune it's very easy to adjust assistance to optimize range and performance. With the Specialized App, parents can adjust the bike's power based on each child's individual abilities. Starting with a low assistance level is useful for getting used to the E-bike, then increasing levels as the child gains confidence. A narrow Bridge saddle (130mm width), a 660mm wide handlebar and short 155mm cranks ensure comfort, efficiency and confidence. SRAM Level T hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable levers, an 80mm telescopic seatpost so they can touch the ground easily and tackle descents safely. The Ground Control 24×2.35 inch tyres are comfortable and provide excellent grip. The 603mm standover height inspires confident pedaling. The progressive geometry with 66° head tube angle and 75° seat tube angle delivers trail capability and fun.
