The Body Geometry method: evolution shaped us to walk, not to pedal — which can result in foot collapse, or misalignment of the foot, knee and hip. The Torch 3.0, like all Body Geometry shoes, helps solve these issues thanks to three patented technologies — varus wedge, longitudinal arch and metatarsal support — to increase power output on the pedals without risking sports injuries. All of this is backed by scientific validation and two decades of field experience. Carbon sole: The Torch 3.0 features a lightweight uni-directional carbon sole that delivers balanced stiffness throughout the entire shoe, using less material and therefore reducing overall weight. This sole ensures highly efficient power transfer, very much in line with that of the S-Works shoe. Large rubber inserts on the sole, at the toe and heel, provide stability and traction when you step off the bike to put your foot down at a traffic light or to set off again. Comfort: When it comes to comfort, construction is key — balanced stiffness, fine-tuned fit adjustment and a flexible upper make up the right mix to optimise comfort.
