Description
The test is based on a challenging obstacle course. Uphill, using it in micro tune 20/20 mode and setting all engine parameters to minimum, you climb smoothly almost effortlessly, as if pedaling were natural, but the moment you crank up the power everything changes! The motor delivers embarrassing power, climbs impossible and tricky sections. The volk mode pushes too hard—if you're not fit it pulls you like a chairlift, would've been better to dial it with micro tune, but these are minor details. Downhill it's super smooth and gives you real confidence, absorbs all the bumps nicely, and handles incredibly well. I'd recommend keeping the suspension a bit stiffer to manage the overall weight better. The brakes—these maven are photonic, they brake hard always. The rotors though, I'd swap them upfront with floating models. The tires are perfect too, finally they've got real bite on everything—even on wet rocks, which the previous models didn't have!
