Thanks to over 100,000 foot scans pulled from RETÜL data, Specialized pushes itself further by inserting a wider carbon sole to fit all shapes of the human foot perfectly. An internal I-Beam adds rigidity and resistance, avoiding any additional reinforcements. The result is a shoe with a comfortable fit, adjustable yet stiff enough to transfer all your power onto the pedals. Both inside and out, the S-Works Recon is built following Body Geometry principles. With almost two decades of development and data analysis behind it, this shoe has no weak points—just pure performance when you ride. Thanks to the varus thickness, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal button, your foot will stay in the optimal position during your pedal stroke while staying aligned with your knees and hips.
