In short, you get it—with the S-Works Recon you've got a pair of shoes that are perfect for off-road riding just like cross country racing, but also, why not, for gravel riding and cyclocross. The sole along with the rubber reinforcement on the toe and heel provides perfect grip when you walk, while the rigid TPU base material delivers great stability and excellent propulsive force. The heel counter with the new PadLock™, more comfortable and with the same performance as the previous version. The aerospace Dyneema™ material of the upper is undeformable. We've honored our motto: "every watt is sacred". For comfort, we've kept all the Body Geometry features you know and love, like the longitudinal arch, the varus thickness and the metatarsal button, designed based on scientific data that has proven effective in optimizing power, increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of injury. The fit? It's like slipping on a glove, thanks to the heat-welded upper. The Boa dials in CNC alloy feature resistant internals and millimeter-precision micro-adjustment is very accurate for optimal customization.
