Specialized Diverge E5 Comp 2023 Escape on gravel trails in the countryside, far from traffic and crowds, or go all out in your favorite gravel race – the new Diverge is perfect for it all. The fastest, most capable and fun gravel bike we've ever built. It's snappy and agile under load, stable and secure when terrain gets tough. It features gravel geometry and plenty of tire clearance. Everything we've learned about road and off-road is built into the Diverge, set to write a new chapter in the gravel category. The Diverge Comp features an E5 Premium alloy frame and a completely FACT carbon fiber fork. Everything you need to pedal fast, with confidence and comfort on road, gravel and off-road. With Shimano Claris 2×8 drivetrain, Axis Elite alloy wheels and Specialized Pathfinder Sport 38mm tires, the Diverge E5 Comp is extremely capable and versatile. The E5 Premium alloy frame of the Diverge Comp is lightweight, stiff and robust. Thanks to the completely FACT carbon fiber fork, this Diverge is light, lively and versatile. We decided to break with classic gravel geometry. The new Diverge features the most progressive geometry ever created for a bike with a road curve, creating a bike that's capable and stable off-road, but snappy and agile on the road. We increased the reach, introduced a more relaxed head tube and adopted a fork with greater offset. A shorter stem keeps the front-center length compact for lively handling. We've incorporated a low bottom bracket for greater stability, while maintaining the ability to run 650b tires if you prefer them. The frame is equipped with mounts for racks, including attachments on the fork and top tube, to make carrying easier on any long-distance journey. Nothing makes a bike more versatile than clearance for wide-section tires. The new Diverge has 47mm of clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1″ with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a solid carbon insert behind the chainrings on the horizontal rear stay, drive side, we managed to create more space without increasing its length or using a fragile dropped chainstay.
