Specialized Diverge E5 2023 Escape on the trails in the countryside, far from traffic and crowds, or go all out in your favorite gravel race—the new Diverge is perfect for it. The fastest, most capable and fun gravel bike we've ever built. It's snappy and agile under load, stable and confident when the terrain gets demanding. It has gravel geometry and plenty of tire clearance. Everything we've learned about road and off-road has been poured into the Diverge, destined to write a new chapter in the gravel category. The Diverge Comp features an E5 Premium alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork. Everything you need to pedal fast, with confidence and comfort on road, gravel and off-road. With Shimano Claris 2×8 drivetrain, Axis Elite alloy wheels with Specialized Pathfinder Sport 38mm tires, the Diverge E5 Comp is extremely capable and versatile. The E5 Premium alloy frame of the Diverge Comp is light, stiff and tough. Thanks to the full carbon FACT fork, this Diverge is lightweight, lively and versatile. We decided to break with classic gravel geometry. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry ever created for a bike with a road-focused curve, so it creates a capable and stable bike off-road, but snappy and agile on road. We increased the reach, introduced a more relaxed head tube and adopted a fork with greater offset. A shorter stem keeps the front-end length contained for lively handling. We've positioned a low bottom bracket for greater stability while maintaining the ability to run 650b tires if you prefer them. The frame is set up with rack mounts, including attachments on the fork and top tube, to make it easy to carry gear for any long-distance adventure. Nothing makes a bike more versatile than clearance for wide tire sizes. The new Diverge has 47mm of space with a 700c wheel and 2.1″ with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a solid carbon insert behind the cogs on the horizontal chainstay, drive side, we were able to create more space without increasing length or using a fragile, sloped chainstay.
