Paired with our Fact12r Crux carbon fork and a performance-oriented build, the Crux DSW tips the scales at 9.37 kg — no other alloy gravel bike can compete. *56 cm size in the lightest colorway. Capability More clearance means more capability: that's why the Crux DSW offers the same tyre clearance as the carbon version — 47 mm and up to 2.1″ with a 650b wheel. With a lightweight, durable alloy frame and wide-section tyres, the Crux DSW can take you anywhere, at full throttle. Responsiveness Responsive under power and compliant in the saddle. We used D'Aluisio Smartweld to bring out the best properties of the alloy and deliver a ride that was previously impossible without carbon — combining it with the same high-performance gravel geometry and race-inspired riding position of the carbon Crux. A longer reach provides better weight distribution for quick, confident handling, while a lower stack creates an aggressive position. With a 72 mm bottom bracket drop, we hit the perfect mix of agility and stability. D'Aluisio Smartweld D'Aluisio Smartweld — or DSW — is a patented engineering process that uses hydroforming for maximum precision at tube junctions, delivering better and stronger welds and, ultimately, a lighter frame that can be twice as strong as a traditional alloy frame. Our Smartweld technology helps us create the down tube and bottom bracket as a single piece on the Crux, reducing weight and amplifying responsiveness. The lightest: 1399g Crux frame (raw).
