MTB Bike Specialized S-Works Epic 2021 A smarter BRAIN The new Epic, always synonymous with speed, features the latest version of the BRAIN suspension, with a brand-new design developed alongside the bike — efficient and tuned for racing. New Frame The new S-Works Epic frame focuses on efficient power transfer and improved handling. The rear triangle is 15% stiffer than the previous version to take full advantage of the new BRAIN platform with its racing tune. The new dedicated lay-up of FACT 12M carbon fiber is even lighter, and with the carbon shock link, you get a weight reduction of over 100 grams compared to the previous S-Works Epic. Perfectly paired with the Brain shock, the S-Works Epic runs a RockShox SID SL Ultimate Brain Position Sensitive fork. The result is a stiffer, more precise front end. Rounding everything out are the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS electronic groupset and Roval Control SL carbon wheels. If speed could talk, it would introduce itself as the S-Works Epic. With 100mm of rear wheel travel, efficiently controlled by the Brain, the stiffest rear triangle for perfect power transfer, FACT 12M carbon fiber construction and a carbon shock link, this full suspension frame is the lightest we've ever built — and incredibly capable. Ultra-light electronic MTB groupset, SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS, built to withstand the rigors of World Cup racing.
