La massima velocità è sempre stata l’obiettivo principale per la progettazione delle Demo. Il design del telaio prevede la flessibilità nel montaggio delle ruote e permette al rider di montare una ruota anteriore da 29 pollici e una posteriore da 27,5. Una combinazione già testata dal Campione del Mondo Loic Bruni che cercava l’equilibrio perfetto tra trazione e manovrabilità, ora anche approvata da parte dell’UCI. La Demo Race è salita al vertice della classifica mondiale ed in Coppa del Mondo nella sua prima stagione.
La traiettoria dell’assale posteriore minimizza l’effetto degli impatti di ostacoli sulla ruota posteriore, aumentando la velocità. Le sospensioni Öhlins dalla cinematica molto apprezzata nel circuito della Coppa di Mondo, insieme alla trasmissione SRAM X01 specifico per il DH rendono la Demo Race l’arma perfetta per ogni run.
